dubai hotel recommendation

can anyone recommend a nice, budget hotel in dubai? i'll only be there a few hours (arriving at midnight) prior to boarding the ship. thanks!

How about the Novotel / Ibis at the World Trade Centre.

 

Very close to the airport, with a shared swimming pool.

 

Check them out on Trip Advisor.

 

Not far from there to the ship, either.

 

Taxis are very cheap in Dubai due to slave labour wages and low gas prices.
