jspirit Posted December 9, 2007 #1 Share Posted December 9, 2007 Does anybody know the current pricing of the canopy adventure excursion? It is not listed on our excursions on line. Maybe it will be offered once we get on the ship? Seems like most people loved it. Any problems? How long is the drive to get to the place? jspirit Posted December 9, 2007 Author #8 Share Posted December 9, 2007 Nothing like a canopy adventure is showing up for Christmas time. Wonder if we should consider booking privately. Has anybody done that?

Raceroc Posted July 19, 2008 #16 Share Posted July 19, 2008 Our upcoming trip on the Triumph in November. Carnival website has all times (9:00, 10:00 and 11:00) $99.00 canopy only. This is the very popular Chukka tour. Glide through the lush jungle on this amazing canopy tour experience in the heart of the spectacular Cranbrook Flower Forest. On this excursion you will: Begin with a briefing session and short nature walk to the first platform nestled on the hillside. Soar through the trees using an intricate harness system of pulleys. Gaze at the surrounding jungle until you arrive at the next cliffside platform, 45 feet above the ground. Swing through the Laughlands River Gorge, a giant valley carved from the surrounding mountain by ancient waters. Observe the plants and animals of this magnificent landscape while listening to the gentle sounds of nature. Get a glimpse of the Caribbean Sea miles away during your adventure. Embark on a series of long throws, with the last traverse being 600 feet long! Unwind from this exhilarating adventure with a walk through Cranbrook. Be transferred back to the ship via Chukka Cove Farm. Note: Minimum age is 10 years and maximum weight is 260 lbs. Guests must have mobility and strength to climb a 20 foot ladder straight up and walk for 30 minutes uphill. 4 Hours $99.00* I am hoping to get more info on the Tranopy tour at Mystic mountain that includes: chairlift up to the top, Bobsled (roller coaster) run, and zip line for $119. This is a new tour and I hope someone can give more info especially on how good the zip line is. I heard the ATV/zip thing is not as good as the Chukka tour. If the Tranopy has 5 or 6 good zips I may do that one instead of the Chukka. Experience the Jamaica Bobsled, the Sky Explorer chairlift and the zip-line canopy all in one adventurous tour! On this exciting excursion you will: Board an air conditioned bus for a short ride to Mystic Mountain. Ride the Sky Explorer chairlift up 700 feet through the tropical forest canopy and at the peak, you can explore the displays and learn the history and culture of Jamaica. Get ready for the thrill of your life on the one and only Jamaica Bobsled adventure ride! Listen to an orientation. Board a specially-made Jamaica bobsled and hold on as it plunges through 3,280 feet of twists and turns down the mountain. Stop, to be slowly lifted back to the top on an elevated tramway. Receive an orientation, safety equipment and harness system for your zip-line adventure. “Fly” through the canopy on a series of cables and pulleys that are interconnected on both tree and land-based platforms while gazing at the spectacular view; your canopy tour ends at the mid-station of the chairlift where you can catch a ride back to the top of the mountain. Spend as much time as you desire admiring the panoramic views while swimming in the infinity edge pool; when you are ready to depart, simply hop on the Sky Explorer chairlift back to the bottom where a shuttle will take you back to your ship Note: Minimum age is 12 years; maximum weight is 280 lbs. Closed-toe shoes are required. Bring a towel and swimsuit if you plan on swimming in the pool. Additional Jamaica Bobsled rides can be purchased at the park. A liability waiver is required for this excursion. Guests must fit in zip-line harness and helmet in a safe manner. Pregnant women and guests with heart conditions or back/neck injuries are not permitted on this excursion. 4.25 Hours $119.00* Anyways... Have FUN on your trip! Charming01 Posted July 21, 2008 #17 Share Posted July 21, 2008 We did the 9am zipline tour in February on the Imagination and we paid $104 each. It was the best. I researched the private tours and the zips didn't seem to be as good and there was only 3 or 4 max. Make sure you research well before you book because I almost made the mistake of booking just because of price, so read the tour descriptions very well.:)
