From Mazatlan the tour probably will be by small plane, since San Sebastian is closer to P. Vallarta. The village has a smal runway.

From P. Vallarta it can be done also by small plane, but nowadays there also is a decent road, so tours by car/bus/ are offered too.

The San Sebastian you are asking about is going from Puerto Vallarta. The only San Sebastian tour in Mazatlan, would be the Copala/Concordia tour, also called the Sierra Madre tour and San Sebastian is now called Concordia, but originally named Villa de San Sebastian in 1565.

It has been named Concordia since the late 1800´s but at one time was San Sebastian. The church is called San Sebastian and is from around 1785 aprox.

So you would have to leave from PV.

Hope this helps you!
