Any opinions on Las Palmas Beach?

Hi, we just returned from the Norwegian Sea and a stop at Las Palmas for lunch and beach. lunch was great and the beach is OK although for sure not one of the prettiest water wise. Having explored this island from top to toe, I'd have to say that doing anything on your own is preferable to a ships excursion and having one of the english speaking taxi drivers to take you around is also reccommended. My fave pick is still to go to Paya Bay Resort (payabay.com) for the day and just relax on my own private beach....

No matter what you do on Roatan, its an incredible place!
