Hotels near Cape Liberty

Just wondering if anyone has ever stayed at The Country Inn and Suites in Elizabeth. I will be getting married onboard The Explorer on May 9,2008 and was looking into this hotel to stay at the night before the wedding. I want to book a block of rooms for guests who would like to stay near the port instead of having to drive in the morning. My fiance and I, along with most of our bridal party and guests live in South Jersey so staying up north the night before will be everyone's best bet.

Hi Kmigrrrl - This past October, my husband and I stayed at the Courtyard by Mariott in Jersey City. A bit expensive but very nice place and in a very clean area with a great walking area near a park and marina looking over towards Lower Manhattan and only about 10 min +/- from Cape Liberty. We would stay there again. Enjoy finalizing your plans for your wedding.

It´s a good choice - you are also in walking distance from Jersey Garden Mall if you happens to forget something for the wedding!
