Enough Taxis - Port Everglades?

Searched but did not find. There will be 7 ships arriving Port Everglades at about the same time on the day we disemberk Emerald Princess (over 17,000 passengers). With many people trying to get to the airport - are there enough taxis available at the port to get us to the FLL airport for 11AM flight? - or, should we pre-arrange a taxi or limo? How early must we disembark the ship to make the flight? Appreciate any help. SeaFish

Each pier has a line up of taxis. If you have an early flight I would try to get off the ship about 3 hours ahead of time. Fort Lauderdale airport at that time fo day can be a mad house.

Only 7 ships...that's a slow day at Port Everglades. You will not have a problem getting a cab they're a dime a dozen so to speak. We've had over 43,000 passengers pass thru in a single day and cabs were plentiful.
