clm4700 Posted December 12, 2007 #1 Share Posted December 12, 2007 Has anyone seen the Kandela show? The cruise excursion said the whole trip is only one hour. I am wondering whether it is worth the money. Thanks.
Dolphin Girl Posted December 12, 2007 #2 Share Posted December 12, 2007 Which cruise line are you on? On Costa, they say: The transportation from the pier to Altos de Chavon village will take place between 7.15 p.m and 8.15 p.m. This excursion involves some walking from the mini-bus parking area to the Amphitheatre located in Altos de Chavon over cobblestone streets; comfortable shoes are recommended. The show will not start before 9.00 pm. The Amphitheatre, where the show will take place, is a Greco-Roman style open arena with stone seats. Seats are not reserved. At the Kandela website, they state that the show itself is 1 hour in length. The web site is http://www.kandela.com.do/english.htm and the show looks entertaining. Hope this helps!
