Anyone use Verizon On Serenade?

We'll be on Serenade for the Jan 5th sailing and are wondering if our Verizon cell phones will work while onboard.

In the middle of the page is a drop down box. This box covers all the area that a normal verizon digital phone will work in. Scroll down toward the bottom of the drop down and you will see a list of the ships. Your ship is listed and it will tell you how much your per min rate will be. You will need to add I-dial to your phone before you leave. You can call customer service at (800) 922-0204 to have this added.

When we were on Serenade last year our Verizon phone actually worked when we were cruising past Monsterrat. It was spotty elsewhere when we needed to call home and check on our son. It also worked on St Thomas.

Ernie, I know it works in San Juan, too, and is on the Nationwide plan while there; therefore, no roaming charge.

Michelle, we love Serenade and the itinerary - we've done it multiple times. And we've used our phones in San Juan and St. Thomas with no problems in the past, just never at sea. By the way, we'll be seeing in just over 3 weeks :D
