Question:

Do the Verizon wireless internet cards work on ships or do they block them? If so can you rent a wireless card and how much is a ships wireless card? Do they charge for time on top of the rental? I doubt I will even bring my laptop but just wondering.

Depends on where you are traveling, if you are talking about cards for satellite interenet. A regular wireless card or pre installed wireless only works if you pay for the service through the ships internet cafe. Call Verizon and see if the satellite signal will work where you are traveling.

Sorry I did not clarify that....yes it's a satellite card. They said it should work anywhere, anytime. We shall see. Part of me does not want to take it......still unsure if I will.
