khinscem Posted April 30, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 30, 2004 I don't know if anyone could help or not. Back in 1985, my friend and I took our first cruise on Carnival's Carnivale. We got to Nassau then got on a ferry boat to Paradise Island. I vaguely remember walking past a hotel (believe Holiday Inn owned it at the time) to get to this beach that today we cannot remember the name of. It did charge an admission to get in, and it was absolutely beautiful. Does this place ring a bell with anyone? If so, do you remember the name of this beach? We can't for the life of us remember it, just remember what a wonderful relaxing time we had there. scubagirrl Posted May 1, 2004 #2 Share Posted May 1, 2004 You landed at Paradise Dock and walked the path to Paradise Beach,. The Old Holiday Inn was on your right, and Paradise, Paradise was on your left. This area has ALL been taken over by Atlantis. The beach you refer to as Cove Beach, inside the breakwater. The only way to access this now is to enter the public walkway at the Sheraton, and head west along in front of Atlantis, over the lagoon, past the breakwater. It's quite a hike. Check the resort map at Atlantis to see the current location. www.atlantis.com
