Sydney Opera House.

We would like to see the S.O. House from the waters. Anyone knows which ferry will give us the best vantage point of the Opera House? Thanks in advance.

The ferry to Mosman or the one to Manly are the best to get. Or if you are going to visit the Zoo then that one will also pass the Opera House.

The regular ferries are great - particularly the Manly ferry run. The ice cream parlour at the end of The Corso is worth the trip alone!

 

Matilda operate a cruise around the middle harbour from Darling Harbour. It runs a commentary and has a snack bar on board. It gives you a more leisurely opportunity to see the sights than the regular ferry service. I took my daughter on it last year and if you strike a fine day, it really is an enjoyable trip and not too expensive.

I like the ferry to Fort Dennison... that is the fortified island in the middle of the harbour. Great views and the tour is great too!
