Beer advice on Grand

Going on my honeymoon on the Grand next month and I've learnt a lot on this site and these boards. First cruise for both of us.

 

I was wondering about the varieties of beer on board. Both my fiance and I are more beer snobs than wine snobs and if our choices are either bud or bud light we will be a little dissapointed.

 

If anyone has any info on the beer choices both in the bar and room service that would be great.

Beck's, Coors Light, Dos Equis, Miller Genuine Draft, Miller Lite are available in the (get 6 for the price of 5) deal... Princess order #2310 at $21.75.

As dforeigner mentioned, there's Grolsch & Heineken, and Foster's as well.

They 'promo' Bud & Bud-Light in the 16oz aluminum bottles as well.

 

Nothing exceptionally rare available onboard, but I always try to locate a 'regional' brew while in ports of call.

There were decent beer choices onboard...think we had Bass for just over $4 by the pool. We also brought a 12 pack of something yummy in a checked bag (along with some wine). Ship selection is pretty good for beer; we are total beer snobs!

I really like the Grolsch, which I hope is still six point beer, as they have started selling it in my state as three point beer.:rolleyes:

It is prob my fave beer on the ship.

Don't forget Guinness! They have it on all the ships I've been on. I like Bass Ale too. One could make a Black & Tan with both! :D

Hard to find, I have never seen it on a cruise ship.
