Whale Watching vs Los Archos

I have gotten lots of great ideas for my excursions from this board; thanks everyone!

In Cabo, Princess offers narrated boat tours of Los Archos (I think they use a tape of Cousteau), as well as the whale watching excursions, which "cruise by" the arches and go on to the whales. Actually, I would like to experience a combination of both adventures, and wouldn't mind a little bit of swimming as well.

I am considering an informal (not cruise sponsored) glass bottom boat tour at the pier - but can somone tell me if they offer some sort of narrative of Los Archos, and if whales can be spotted from these boats as well?

I have gone on many whale watching excursions in New England (Provincetown MA) so I don't really want to spend the entire time tracking whales, but would like to see a few.
