Wine close to the port in Miami?

I've asked this on the Florida board, but haven't received any responses! I hope my Carnival friends can help.

 

We fly to Miami tomorrow and don't arrive until 11:15pm. We are staying at the airport Hilton and then taking a cab to the Victory. We hoped to buy wine before boarding the ship the next morning - but until yesterday, I kind of *forgot* that I don't even know where to buy wine! Do convenience stores/grocery store sell wine in Florida? Do I need to find a liquor store? Any suggestions?

you can purchase wine just about anywhere in Miami. grocery stores, 7/11, and in tourist areas even some walgreens carry wine. check with the hotel and im sure they can direct you to a place. Liquor stores are open as well and are not controlled so they are competitive. have a great trip

There are NO stores in the immediate port area to buy beer or wine. :( You will need to stop at a grocery store on the way, or 7-11 if your want MD 20/20. :eek:
