Just wondered if the cabins immediately below the Windjammer are affected noise-wise by all the activity in there?

depends on which ship. Have been in the owner suite on the splendour and ABSOLUTELY. just got off the Voyager and had AFT 1694 right below WJ & rarely heard anything

Our cabins will be 1371 & 1377 on the Independence of the Seas.

we found it noisy, but only around dinner. breakfast/lunch didn't seem too bad.

We were under the Windjammer on the Explorer and only heard something that sounded like dragging one night at about 11 PM. Otherwise, it was quiet - the floor in the Windjammer is carpeted.

Didn't have a lot of choice. Our cabins were the last 2 in that category. I am hoping that when final settlement date arrives some people may cancel and then perhaps we could be moved.

Deck 10 is a normally a good deck to be on,they have the big suites etc on it :D

 

When we were on the NV we were just a few cabins away from yours and we never heard any noise at all from the WJ etc.

 

Also never felt any movement at all...even going through the Bay and a storm near Gib.

I am mad as heck that I had to cancel that cruise...but Alex just wont cruise again now till the Genesis,he isnt even doing the AOS with me in 09 :( :D

 

Someday Gail we will cruise together,hopefully :D
