Shore Excursion Sochi????? How Much :-(

Just had a quote for a tour of Sochi from a local tour guide. 450 Euro for 4 people for 4 hours - she's got to be kidding. That is so expensive. Our 8 hour tour of Istanbul is 60 Euros each.

Not been to Sochi. However, you should check what is included, e.g. meals, admissions, transportation, etc.

 

I did a quick internet search, and came up with a private guide at 200 euros for the day including transport, although I know nothing of the person's abilities or experience.

 

However, often in life you get what you pay for, and taking the cheapest option may not always be the best. Have you been recommended to this particular guide, and have you obtained any other quotes for comparison?

Hi Paul, everywhere I check, it seems that Sochi is not worth the effort. I would not pay that much to go on an excursion. Will keep checking though.
