Harry's Question

There will be three couples eating together at Harry's. I would like to pay for all three. Is it possible and if so, how do I do it?

Thanks,

Fern

Let the waiter know what you want to do and at the end of the meal give him/her your Sail and Sign card. The charges for all six of you will go on your card.

Simple!

Have you made your reservations yet? If not this site is available to take care of that task in advance:

You'll have a wonderful time!

No, I haven't made the reservations yet. Should I do it onboard so I can pick the table? I thought it might be nice to pick where we sit.

Not to be picky but, for me, it's always been the wine host(ess) who took care of the payment on behalf of the wait staff.

I've had it done both ways... drink hostess and head waiter. I guess it varies...

You can make your reservations ahead of time and if you're not happy with the table they take you to you can ask to move. It's really no different than making your reservation on board ship just a bit more convenient... one thing less to take care of once you're on board.

When we dined at the supper club on the Spirit last Jan/08, I went early the day of the reservation and spoke to the Hostess and gave her my sign and sail card. It was nice to get it done and this way when we finished our meal we just told the couple who joined us that everything was already taken care of!

This eliminates sign and sail cards being pulled out and friendly bantering about who pays etc.:D We also just brought a $20 bill and left it. But.....that again is personal preference and tipping ( as noted thousands of times in various posts on this board ;) ) is not required.

We have already booked our reservations for the Pride, sailing on March 30, 08 and have decided to eat there twice because it was so great the last time!

Have fun!

Smiles,Connie
