Lolly Pop Posted January 6, 2008 #1 Share Posted January 6, 2008 Am cruising on The Sun - Feb 2nd - and was wondering - since we haven't been on a cruise with NCL since The Sky (now retired) - if beer in the bucket is still offered around the swimming hole (pool area). My hubby found this to be a great deal - beer that he hadn't drank we brought back down to our stateroom for consumption later on. Cheers! welove2cruise* Posted January 6, 2008 #2 Share Posted January 6, 2008 I'm not sure if the Sun is the same, but they had the "helmet" deal by the pool on the Dawn. It was buy 5 and get the 6th free from what I remember.
rickechambers1@aol.com Posted January 6, 2008 #3 Share Posted January 6, 2008 Yes...they had it on the Sun a couple days ago. $19.95 (plus grat.) for domestic and $22.95 I think for imported for 6 total beers (plus a few dollars as a deposit toward the helmut for the first purchase). Just make sure to get a bottle opener from the waiter if you need one to open the beer in your cabin later. It was nice to have a beer in the room. Lolly Pop Posted January 7, 2008 Author #7 Share Posted January 7, 2008 Many thanks for the answers on beer in a ... helmet <lol> - good for Super Bowl Sunday on the Sun. Glad to know that Sky is still in use - my TA said it had been retired - guess she didn't know. Anna from Montreal
