Freeport, Junkanoo Beach Party or Viva Wynydam Fortuna Beach Resort?

My husband and I stayed at the Wyndam Labor Day weekend in 2007, for our anniversary. It wasn't up to "Wyndam" standards, but remodeling had already started. The italian restaurant had had a fire, and was relocated. I wasn't very impressed with any of the food. But the snack bar and bar right on the beach was good.

 

I will say it was one of the most beautiful and relaxing times I've ever had. The beach was phenomenal. The guests were mostly Italian (as it's their big holiday and travel season that time of year) but we only saw one topless woman the whole time.

 

The staff at the Wyndam was as friendly as any place we've been.

 

Whether all that would make it a good place for an excursion day, I couldn't tell ya.

Very good way of putting it. I would not go there for the food, but it is edible and the drinks have a way of making everything seem fine... lol

The topless is not a lot, I just wanted to forwarn people.

We have gone three times and every time there has been people from Europe - no problem, just a fact.
