tipping on land tours

For the two of us we usually tip the tour director $5.00 for a half day tour, and $2.00 to the driver. For a full day tour we tip a minimum of $10.00, more is the tour guide was really good, and $5.00 to the driver. Unfortunately, from our observations, it seems most of the people on the tour tip nothing.

How true -- on so many of our recent tours we have watched people in front of us just get off the bus - tip no one.
