FLL Priceline question

Has anyone ever gotten a Sheraton property by bidding priceline in FLL?

If so, which "area" and how much did you bid?

I have never used priceline and am afraid I will get something really bad.

I am open to any tips for using Priceline that anyone is willing to share.

Thanks!

What is a "fair" price to bid on a 3*, and a 4* hotel for March 14th 2008 that most likely will be accepted. Everything looks so high on everyone's sites. I know it is spring break but my goodness. At this point I'll take almost anything but I don't want to get "robbed" either for just the night before the cruise. Help !!!!!

we got 2.5 star FLL Courtyard Marriot for $85 on the beach for spring break night before th ecruise. I had started with $80 3* bid and added beach & downtown area and got that one. It is totally renovated and has excellent reviews. I had been told do not bid anything less thean 2.5*

On our night we return I got the airport Springhill Suites for $88 and had tried to get the other beachfront property again but heard this is a good stay as well. Good Luck!
