Going back and forth so we are looking for suggestions.....

We will be visiting Grenada on Feb 9th (Emerald Princess) and would like to visit either LaSagesse or Morne Rouge. We have read about both beaches but would like to have someone who has been there recently offer some advice.

Which beach would you recommend?

How long does it take to get to these beaches?

Can you get to these beaches via water taxi (like you can to Grand Anse)?

Thoughts.....

LaSagesse is a quiet beautiful beach that can only be reached by taxi. There is a resort there that can call you a return taxi, but you can also make arrangement with the driver the brought you. It is about a 30-35 minute ride from town.

You can rent beach chairs for about $4-5 US and there is a bar/restaurant right there.

If you e-mail me at the name above @ptd dot net, I can send you pictures of the beach. The water is very shallow and easy swimming and the beach is very clean.

We were there on Dec. 29th. If you eat in the restaurant, JUST ORDER THE HAMBURGERS!!!!
