Casino on Canada/NE Itinerary?

Contemplating a NE/Canada itinerary this summer on the Grandeur of the Seas. Like to gamble now and then. I know the casino will not be open when in US ports. But will the casino be open at other times? What is generally the rule? thanks.

I have sailed on Princess and Celebrity ships to Canada/New England and yes the csino is open on sea days. Times will be posted on the daily newletter.

went on grandeur last august - casino is open on sea days... just not while in port.

The casino opens up 1 hour after departing the port of call.

If your going to halifax they have their own casino. So if you feel the urge to gamble you can go there while ships in port : ) I don't know how far your going but i think there's also casinos in Quebec and Montreal too. Otherwise, as stated above you just have to wait an hour after departure. Kind of like waiting to swim after you eat.

If you go to the CT or RI ports, Foxwoods Casino is a short ride away. It is one of the largest , if not the largest casino in the world. Great slots and table games, Mohegan Sun is also in the area. I live an hour away and go down several times a year. If you check out their websites, you'll be impressed. Both casinos have big name entertainment, top notch dining and and great amenities. There are also food courts and reasonably priced restaurants as well.
