taking 13 yr. old on 1st cruise - MOS. when is the best time to take them to their club area? do they make you ck them in/out? want to spend time with them, but also want them to have fun. Do they usually dine with you or with friends? TIA

If you can, take them to the get acquainted part. They will go over the process and how it works for your age group. I am pretty sure in the 13yr old group they can sign in/out if you set it up that way.

 

In terms of meals and activities, it depends on the child. When we took a group of kids they often ate on their own and simply checked in with us. Other times we met up for meals. If they meet other kids and are having fun, you will cease to exist!

Make sure they go to the get acquainted party. 13 year olds will not have to be signed in/out. They can come and go as they please.
