Miami Airport Security Line

We were at MIA on Friday Jan 4th at 10 am, there must have been 2000 people in line for security. Then we got in line Sunday Jan 13th at 9 am, we had a 50 (FIFTY) minute wait to get to the belt where you put your items, then another 5 or 10 minutes to walk through. I have never seen so long a line. Before that, it took us 30 minutes to check in at American Airlines. So allow a lot of time before your flight.

Man I'm really glad I read this. We fly home on 1/26 and we were thinking we'd take our time getting to the airport for our 11am flight. I guess we'll be up bright and early!
