Help me with Catamaran question...

Hi, I have never seen a catamaran (only a small picture in brochure) and

can't tell if they have seating, it looks flat on top with no sides, and just a

sail....Is there a below deck with seating. Is there a bathroom (head)?

The only way that I can do the excursion is by catamaran, but not if it

does not providing seating or some type of shelter.

Please help as I would need to books this asap.

Thanks , Ann

There are different models of catamarans just like there are different models of boats. Usually the catamarans that are used for excursions have some sort of bathroom. There is often some type of cabin with seating, although sometimes this cabin is more enclosed and therefore hot, and sometimes more open.

I would suggest posting on both the port board and the cruiseline board to see if anyone has done this particular excursion before and would be able to give a better description. Also ask if they know either the name of the catamaran or the name of the company that runs the catamaran and email them with your questions.

If you google Golden Eagle Catamarran, someone has posted online a video and you can see how they are set up.:)

Ann... give me some more info and I'll look for pictures. Which port and what's the name of the catamaran?? Or the name of the ship you'll be on so I can look up the excursion and find it.

If you want, you can google it yourself. Just enter the island name and catamaran/tour company name... then click on "images" at the top of the list of hits. You'll get just pictures that way.
