Need advice on Seward to Anchorage transfers...

I also posed this question on the Alaska board.

What's been the experience with transfers from Seward to Anchorage for a flight right after your NB cruise ends? We are looking at an afternoon flight either 2 or 3 PM and have been told that we can probably make it with the bus transfer but not the rail transfer (either one booked thru the cruise line). Is that true? Before anyone says how can you go all the way to Anchorage and not see the area, we have been there before on land trips, plus we need to get back home ASAP for a wedding we were invited to AFTER we booked the cruise:eek: Thanks for any ideas:)

If you book through the cruise line they will have a "earliest flight time" requirement for all transfers. Even if you booked your own air, you can be assured, if you follow their rules, there will be people on the bus/train with you who booked air with the cruise line, on the same flight.
