Casino onboard?

Is it still true that the ships that do Hawaii and do not go to Ensenada (or another foreign port) cannot have their casinos open? We do enjoy going to the casino after dinner and although we are not big gamblers, do like the diversion. Thanks for the info!

Ships that are home ported in Hawaii can not even have a casino onboard. Ships that are not home ported in Hawaii can't have the casinos in operation while in Hawaiian waters. This was the way I last heard/saw the issue of casinos on ships in Hawaii.

At night, when the ships move out into international water, they will bring their casinos on-line. This is only true, of course, if your ship HAS a casino - obviously not true in the case of the Star. Probably not true of the POAs as well.
