The Hyatt Place is brand new, the Best Westerns been around sine the 50's with furniture to match. The Hyatt Place is in close proximatey to dozens of shops and restaurants, the Best Western is a short walk to the beach. The Hyatt Place has brand new bedding, linens, flat screen tv's, the Best Western does not. Both have easy access to the Sun Trolley.

The pool is nothing to write home about at either hotel. You want a nice pool, try the Hyatt Pier 99.

The Sun Trolley is a public bus that looks like a trolley. It runs from Thursday to Sunday from 10am until 10pm. Costs only 50 cents. Runs in a big loop from SE 17th Street to just north of Las Olas Boulevard. Schedule is every 15 minutes and you can get on and off wherever you'd like as there are no fixed stops.
