Help, I need affordable transportaion from Fort Lauderdale hotel to Port Everglades

I am looking for affordable transport from our hotel in Pompano beach to the port. Our hotel does not have a shuttle. Can any one reccommend a service? Also, does anyone have any ideas how much a cab would be? The hotel is @ 13 miles from the port.

We just need the arrangments for one way and thats just going to the cruise. I would rather not deal with the hassle of renting, driving to the port, then returning the car in a 3 hour span of time. plus i hate car rentals and have never had a positive experience using one.
