Photographs of QE2 and QV on transatlantic

There have been many posts of the original photographs, but I remember seeing someone post an improved (ie colour corrected) version at one point. I can't find it among the myriad of transatlantic threads.

Can anyone assist?

Sorry for requesting, I can only see 2 X's on my screen, but would be interested what's behind.

Sorry about that - it works on my PC - but this should definitely work:

It feels a bit like pornography....but its worth bearing in mind what has happened to the vast majority of the QE2's predecessors....

Sorry about that .............

I have to be sorry for asking, I would'nt if I had a clue whats comming up.

On the other hand I'm a positive thinker and we can be sure the only one's who really have- and also want to spend enough money on QE2 will be the Arabians in Dubai. So I'm looking a few years ahead and will return to Dubai for some nights at "Hotel QUEEN ELISABETH II" in cabin 1110 (the one we'll sail this summer).

Will you join us Peter?

Absolutely not. I have set foot on the QE2 for the last time and have no interest in visiting her corpse.......however nicely they take care of her......

Im of the same view though l do have a few trips left on her yet, as for how nicely they take care of her, that remains to be seen.

From another board:

Gosh, Peter, you broke my heart with that other picture, which is why I'm replying to this one so I don't have to see it again.

Since that could have been her possible fate, I reckon it's not so bad Dubai will have her, though I've got no desire to visit once they do.
