Kindlychap Posted January 18, 2008 #1 Share Posted January 18, 2008 There have been many posts of the original photographs, but I remember seeing someone post an improved (ie colour corrected) version at one point. I can't find it among the myriad of transatlantic threads. Can anyone assist? Matthew

Navaleye Posted January 19, 2008 #8 Share Posted January 19, 2008 Last one then... and I tidied up the two of the QE2 so that the sea doesn't run off the side of the paper.
guernseyguy Posted January 19, 2008 #9 Share Posted January 19, 2008 ...for the QE2 - if not November, then in the not too distant future (from another board):
RobertQM2 Posted January 19, 2008 #10 Share Posted January 19, 2008 A very good morning Peter. Sorry for requesting, I can only see 2 X's on my screen, but would be interested what's behind. Regards from
guernseyguy Posted January 19, 2008 #11 Share Posted January 19, 2008 Sorry for requesting, I can only see 2 X's on my screen, but would be interested what's behind. Sorry about that - it works on my PC - but this should definitely work: It feels a bit like pornography....but its worth bearing in mind what has happened to the vast majority of the QE2's predecessors.... RobertQM2 Posted January 19, 2008 #12 Share Posted January 19, 2008 Sorry about that ............. I have to be sorry for asking, I would'nt if I had a clue whats comming up. On the other hand I'm a positive thinker and we can be sure the only one's who really have- and also want to spend enough money on QE2 will be the Arabians in Dubai. So I'm looking a few years ahead and will return to Dubai for some nights at "Hotel QUEEN ELISABETH II" in cabin 1110 (the one we'll sail this summer). Will you join us Peter? guernseyguy Posted January 19, 2008 #13 Share Posted January 19, 2008 Will you join us Peter? Absolutely not. I have set foot on the QE2 for the last time and have no interest in visiting her corpse.......however nicely they take care of her......

Im of the same view though l do have a few trips left on her yet, as for how nicely they take care of her, that remains to be seen.
Wadadli1 Posted January 19, 2008 #16 Share Posted January 19, 2008 From another board: Gosh, Peter, you broke my heart with that other picture, which is why I'm replying to this one so I don't have to see it again. Since that could have been her possible fate, I reckon it's not so bad Dubai will have her, though I've got no desire to visit once they do.
