Tango Show in Buenos Aires

We booked our SA cruise a few days ago (Star Princess, 3/30/2008), and needless to say I am way too exited about it :D (investigating a ton on what to see and do ....shall we go see the King Penguins at Volunteer point or the gentoos at Sparow cove? What will the weather be like? Where to have lunch in Modevideo, airport transfers etc etc)

It is amazing all the valuable information I have been able to find on this board, esp about Falklands!

One question we still have open is what Tango show to go to in Buenos Aires? We are staying at the Hilton at Puerto Madero on the 29th, and I have heard of the Madero Tango, but the show will be too long and late at night considering that we will have just flew in BA in the morning from SFO and would have spent the whole day sightseeing.

What are some other available options e.g. early evening Tango show for say 1-1:30 hr?

If anyone is interested I will be glad to share some of the tours, and places we will be visiting based on all the information I have read on this forum (can you believe that i have printed about 200 pages of thread discussions the past two days to read about all the tour options)

Thank you all for the answers

The best are: Senor Tango, Esquina Carlos Gardel, El Querandi, Michelangelo. All shows start at 10 pm and last for about 2 hours.

All these shows have web sites. Just check google for their addresses.

To me, Esquina Carlos Gardel is the best and the most typical.
