Buying a Watch in Aruba

WE are travelling with HAL to Aruba next month and I am in the market for a watch, perhaps Movado or Tag - Has anyone experience bargaining in stores there, and where may I get the best price. Thanku!

I have to agree with Stevesan. Or at least know the price beforehand of what you are purchasing. Also keep in mind that you may be shopping duty free, but Aruba has a 3% tax on everything you buy.

I bought my DH a Tag in St. Marteen. The price was the price but I saved $300 on the retail price here in VA plus the taxes.

I wonder :rolleyes: :confused: if St. Martin is THE place to buy watches. My in-laws have purchased a number of Rolex's there. Last year they purchased dh a Tag and a Raymond Weil for me. :eek:
