Cayman Tender Lines

Are they as bad as they were in June 2006 or have they gotten better? They were MISERABLE on our last cruise -- worst we've ever had in Cayman, and I'm curious to see if they've remedied the situation at all or if my DH and I should just get back on the ship after lunch and grabbing our gratuitous rum cakes for my IL's.

They were awful. I mean really terrible last time.

I went in september. We waited till about 30 minutes before we had to be back on the ship to go to the tender line. We did have to wait, maybe 10 minutes at the most. They filled one boat while we were in line, that boat left there was another boat waiting, they filled that one and we were on our way. They did pack us in like sardines. There were only two ships in port the day that I was there, so I wonder if that has anything to do with it.
