Fishing in Skagway or Ketchikan

Has anyone fished in these two ports?? Our cruise is the last one in the season for Carnival and was wondering how the fishing is that time of year..Any suggestions for fishing charters in these two ports??

Ketchikan definitely, Kelly. The big King salmon are pretty much gone then, but the silvers are good in September - you can see an all-species fishing calendar for Ketchikan at http://www.explorenorth.com/library/communities/alaska/images/fishing_calendar-ketchikan.html

I kinda figured Ketchikan would be our best bet..:)..Ill look up Northern Lights and see what a charter would run..
