Car Rentals in Puerto Montt

Has anyone rented a car for the day in either Puerto Montt, Ushuaia or Punta Arenas? If so what company did you use and did they bring the car to the port? Any help would be appreciated. We are going in late March on the Star Princess.

We were on the Infinity for the Christmas cruise. We rented a car in Puerto Montt from Hertz. They delivered the car to the pier. I did call them from the pier to remind them, 10 minutes after the designated time. They got there 5 minutes later. You have to agree on a return time, as you have to return the call to the pier as well. Overall, I was pleased with the service.

 

This was our 2nd time doing this itinerary, and I now think, it is better to negotiate with the taxi drivers outside the pier.
