Number of bags and getting extra tags

I have a question about how many checked bags you can take. And if you can get more tags for them if you need.

you can get all you want the limit is 300 lbs...you'll never get near it as long as you don't fly. Just make up our own tags or ask for extra when you check in.(the porters always have them)...

Our cruise docs just arrived a day ago. In the contract, paragraph 2 line (a), it states that each adult passenger is allowed to carry 200 pounds of luggage onto the vessel. There is now limit on number of bags just the weight of 200 not 300 as posted above. Keep in mind that you have to store all the bag you bring in your cabin. We use bags that are collapsable and or nest inside one another to save space.

My cruise docs have always said 200 lbs, but I seem to recall reading something about a higher limit for longer cruises - but thay may have been a different cruiseline.

sorry it is 200 lbs per person not 300 as I listed above so for two people its 400 lbs...any one ever come close to that and have you ever seen them weigh any of them?

I don't see how anyone could get over the weight limit, and they don't check anyway.:)
