Prickly Pear Island = Virgin Gorda?

I've noticed in the new Caribbean itineraries, the beach barbeque is listed as Prickly Pear Island, BVI. Is this the same place that it always has been? It used to be listed as Virgin Gorda. Just wondering. Thank you!

Prickly Pear has been the site of the picnic the last several years. The change in port listing could mean the ship doesn't make the early morning tender stop on the southern (opposite) end of Virgin Gorda for shore excursions.johnny

Hi Jane,

In Dec. we docked in the south harbor for those going on shore excursions. After our tour of the "Baths" we were tendered to "prickly pear". The site set up looks like it's been there for some time. We quite enjoyed our afternoon there.
