Have you stayed in Mini D732 on the Grand?

We have been assigned to the Mini-suite D732 on the Grand. Just found out

this is a handicap room with 2 twins and upper berth and only shower. Need to know if the closet has been altered and is there a sitting area with couch.

We do not need a handicap room and would like to not have a upper berth,

would like full closet and sitting area. Three ladies will be sharing. Princess

reps don't seem to know this is an altered room and what the alterations are.

Thought maybe someone who has stayed in this room could help. Thanks in

advance for any information!

Yes, there is a sofa for the third passenger, not an upper. Closet is in the main room, with doors. It does not have the small changing area as in most minis. Bathroom is as you described. (Room was intended as H/C access, but hall is not wide enough to actually use it as H/C room)

We're in D730 next Nov. and I sure hope the closet is the usual wonderful Princess configuration!

Well, the closet appears to be configured differently.

The picture taken by Janet and thumbnailed above by dforeigner is of D732, not D730. The rooms with this 'odd' layout are noted by a * on the deck plans, are marked 'non-converting twins/shower only' and are D732 and D733 on the Grand, Golden, Star, Caribbean and D736/D737 on the Diamond and Sapphire.

 

D730 has the regular closet.
