Taxi or minivan in Barcelona ?

There will be 6 of us arriving in Barcelona pre-cruise. Would we be able to hire 2 taxis at the airport to transfer a 3-and-3 combination to our hotel or shoud we hire a minivan service? I know when we were in Paris we had a hard time finding a cab that would fit 3 adults and 3 pieces of luggage.

On the other hand, cabs in London are quite large.

 

Any recommendations or suggestions for minivan transports would be welcome.

There were 4 of us this last November in Barcelona and we managed to fit all of us into one taxi. Luggage fit just fine.
