Telephone Use in Cozumel/Grand Cayman??

What would be the recommended avenue for telephone use in

Mexico/Central America. Phone cards bought at the ports??

 

I'm assuming that phone cards bought in the US won't work in

out of country ports...

 

We will need to call Canada.

When you leave the pier in the Caymans turn left and walk to the duty free which is on the next corner. Inside you can purchase a phone card for $10 and make your calls right there.

 

In Cozumel there are no phones for use at the pier. You have to go downtown to use a phone there. You will be given the run around at the pier and told to go here and there and everywhere and the only place is downtown.

Went to Hell, bought some phone cards at the post office, called home & work from the payphone in the parking lot and told everyone where I ended up:p

be sure and check with your cabin steward, waiter, bus boy, or the pursers office. The crew members no doubt know the best places to go...
