Well, did you have fun???

 

We went on the Carnival Glory when my son was that age. It wasn't my favorite ever trip, but it was pretty fun. This time he'll be 3.5, and he's so excited!

Yes we had fun. We had to reset expectations, but that is expected. We had lots of adopted grandparents on board that just loved holding our son, even at dinner times. He was treating like a VIP and that does include line skipping.

We live in Dallas too and have been considering that cruise or RCL Adventure of the seas. Did you drive to Galveston and if so, about how long did it take? Also, if you drove, did you drive the day of the cruise or the day before?

We always wake up and drive down the morning of the cruise. It is a really easy drive. We left at 6:00 and arrived at the pier at 11:45. We would have been there sooner if my wife did not want to stop at every Starbucks on the way down.
