For anyone looking for a reasonably priced place to stay in Auckland, this one was just published by Budget Travel as one of the 50 Best reasonably priced hotels. Note: I have no first hand knowledge but thought it looked good enough to pass along.

 

Amitee's on Ponsonby

Father and son accountants Ian and Mark Stewart were just looking for new office space when they stumbled across a lovely seven-room inn for sale in Auckland's Ponsonby neighborhood--with a separate apartment, which now doubles as their office and a business center for guests.
