Seattle and Vancouver

I am planning a pre/post cruise 3 days Seattle and 3 days Vancouver. I'm in my thirties and traveling with parents that are in their 60s. We are staying in May/June. Booked the Rosedale in vancouver, nothing so far in Seattle. Would greatly appreciate recommendations for seattle hotel (something with rooms to accomadate 3 people in moderate price range) and can't miss restaurants and attractions
