going out on your own in Cozumel-Ideas??

Hi I am looking for ideas (not shore excursions thru the ship) We would love to find a beach or resort to spend about 4 hours not too far from the pier but something nice. Any other ideas that you think a group of 11 women ages 18-45 would like? Thanks:) :)

You want to go to Playa Uvas or Playa Palancar. You can take a taxi to either one.

Playa Palancar is not exactly close, but nothing is that far on Cozumel. There are also some options north of the cruise ship docks.
