Fantasy...April 5, 2008

We stayed at the Embassy Suites Hotel when we went on the Holiday in 2002. It's right on the river. Convenient to everything --French Quarter, Riverwalk Mall, etc. They had a free breakfast bar (large) each morning. We woke up the morning of our cruise and went down and watched them replenish the ship before it was our turn to board!

We're sailing on the Fantasy in July, and hope to stay at the Embassy Suites then also!!

Not too easy of a walk with luggage if you packed like I did for our first cruise. We drove to the pier and parked in the terminal parking garage. I learned a lesson from that first cruise though --- don't overpack. I bet we didn't wear half of what I packed!!! LOL

I know what you mean about over packing. However, you are much smarter than I am; we have been on many cruises & I STILL way over pack & STILL never wear 1/2 of what I packed...but, you never know what you might need. I always think I am prepared, but STILL forgot the one thing I need most! lol
