HAL Pointers

Would love some 'don't miss' tips from frequent HAL cruisers. I've never been on a cruise (HAL or Otherwise) and would love some suggestons for things to try/places to check out on the ship (Volendam) or just little secrets every HAL mariner knows (like where to go for goodies and chocolates!) that they could pass on to a newbie.:)
