Sitka:Sea Otter Or Ketchikan: Misty Fjords

We are cruising Alaska May 18-25th, and are torn between the following two HAL cruise-line shore excursions (budget requires choosing only one of these):

 

Sitka: Sea Otter & Wildlife Quest/Sea Otter & Eagle Raptor Center or...

Ketchikan: Misty Fjords and Wilderness Explorer.

 

The prices are comparible and I'm torn between the two. If we do Ketchikan, that is all we'll have time for. We have already been to Ketchikan and have seen the town. We have never been to Sitka.

 

Your suggestions are greatly appreciated! Wish we could do both!

Decide if you want scenery or wildlife. Superior is an independent out of Sitka, you can get to the Raptor Center on your own, depending on the time.

 

I give an edge to an independent boat tour out of Sitka, as I greatly prefer flying Misty Fjords.
