Fortuna Balcony question...

Thanks in advance for any answers!

I have booked rooms next to eachother for my family. I was wondering if I will be able to open the divider between our balconies...make it easier to go back and forth between rooms. We are on the Vigo Deck....

They will open the divider when in port only - not while the ship is sailing. The reason we were given is because there was a wild party onboard a Costa ship once and someone went overboard. Yeah...we're in our 50's + 60's - a real swinging foursome - just the type to get plastered and fall overboard. Whatever....

On the Mediterranea, our balcony divider was opened on the first full day (and we were at sea) It was left open for the duration of the cruise. They somehow bolted it to the railing so it was not in the way of either of our doors to our room
