I can sum up the whole experience in one word..AWESOME!! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, Carnival was nothing but impressive!

I arrived at 930am, in tears only because I was so nervous, to the nicest gentleman who assembled my entire wedding party through security and up to the waiting area where we waited for about an hour for the wedding coordinators. Once they arrived they discussed how everything would happen and we were allowed on about 11:00am once everyone cleared from the last sailing. We also met our minister who described how everything would happen and made sure we were happy with everything.

Once we were all on, everyone went for lunch on the Lido deck and my sister stayed behind with me to get me dressed. My room was all ready and had a heart swan made on the bed, it was awesome! Our wedding was at 1:00 in the Tapestry room. At 1245 my sister went down with the rest of the family and I waited for the coordinator to come and get me.

Once I got there I saw my dad who was escorting me down the isle, I said please don’t cry….well as soon as the doors opened and I saw all the people there was nothing I could do to stop the tears! The wedding itself was beautiful and it only took about 15 minutes and we were married. We then went to the disco for our reception. There was staff in place for our every need. The drinks were plentiful, and everyone could have whatever they wanted! The DJ played all the songs we requested and everyone has a fantastic time. After the reception we took some more pictures and headed outside. Everyone stopped and congratulated us and we felt like celebrities. Again, it was so awesome!

The rest of the trip was the same, amazing! We were noticed all cruise and congratulated. Our itinerary had us stopping in the Bahamas, Grand Cayman, and Jamaica. Due to some crew members getting sick we actually has to turn around after we left the Bahamas and missed Grand Cayman completely. I felt terrible for the bride and her wedding party that were getting married on the beach, but I did meet her the night before and she was in good spirits. I never did see her again but I heard they did end up getting married in Jamaica. I hope everything went well for her!

SO all you brides to be, you’re in good hands with Carnival! They were great and I couldn’t have asked for anything better. If anyone has any questions, I will be happy to answer!

Oh one last thing… Pictures!!! They have packages available that start at 499 and go to 3000. We did take the first package that offers 16- 8x10’s, 30 or so 5x7’s and some wallets. Well we didn’t need 16 8x10’s so we ended up with 5 8x10’s and he gave us more 5x7’s and no wallets. They take so many pictures it was hard to just pick and choose what we wanted, but we have a nice variety. Also my friend took all the same shots as he did, so I new I didn’t need to buy them all. But there was no price negotiation with us, it is what it is. I think that was better anyway!
